KARACHI: The body of the Pakistani prisoner Noorul Islam, who was tortured to death at an Indian jail, was shifted to Karachi.
Authorities shifted the body of a Pakistani fisherman Noorul Islam to his residence situated in Ibrahim Hyderi neighbourhood of Karachi’s Korangi area.
Relatives and neighbours of the deceased fisherman expressed severe outrage and raised anti-India slogans upon arrival of the dead body.
Relatives said that Noorul Islam was allegedly killed at Gujrat jail.
It is pertinent to mention here that Noorul Islam had been taken into custody by the Indian forces over mistakenly entering into Indian waters in 2017.
