Bollywood Ruins Another Iconic Song “Amma Dekh”

Web Desk (July 19, 2018): Bollywood has once again ruined an iconic song from 90s ‘Amma Dekh’ in its recreated version, which has been modernized for the listeners as it’s more groovy and peppy.

The song titled ‘Amma Dekh’ is a remake of one of Jackie Shroff’s famous song from the movie ‘Stuntman’. One of its versions was also included in Pakistani movie ‘Munda Bigda Jaye’ featuring John Rambo (Afzal Khan) and Sahiba.

Though the song has been brilliantly choreographed, the four dancers in the video put up a power packed performance combining different hip hop styles with their own, but the song couldn’t get the appreciation it needed. The song has received mix reviews for the song but has come as a disappointment for the audience.

The recreated version of the song will appear at the end of the movie ‘Nawabzaade’ and supposedly will be used for further promotions. ‘Nawabzaade’ director Jayesh Pradhan said, “Amma Dekh features in the film’s end credits. It is bound to catch the attention of the fans of film’s lead cast as it will be used extensively for promotional purpose. The song is high on energy and once again gives you a glimpse of the easy chemistry of the film’s lead cast,” Indian media reported.Image result for nawabzaadeRecently, Bollywood recreated Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s popular track ‘Halka Halka Suroor’ for the movie ‘Fanney Khan’ which was also one of the biggest disappointment for the fans.
