Welter weight boxing champion Amir Khan on Sunday met Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif) and the boxer presented an award to the COAS over improving security situation in the country.
As per the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan origin the welter weight champion Amir Khan called on Army Chief at General Headquarter (GHQ).
The boxer handed over the special award to the army chief from behalf of World Boxing Council (WBC). The WBC has given the special award to the COAS in recognition to his services for establishment of peace and making security situation in the country improved.
