BOLTON: Boxer Amir Khan has confirmed that he has undergone surgery on his right elbow.
The British boxer posted the following video message from hospital with his arm in a sling and provided his followers with a timeline regarding his recovery:
UPDATE: Had my right elbow operation today.
It was giving me pain in my last fight.

“Hopefully I will never get this injury again and will come back stronger,” the 2004 Olympic silver medallist said. “I can’t wait for the next one.”
The 32-year-old was last in action on April 20, when he was beaten via technical knockout by Terence Crawford in.
Khan lost to Crawford when he was pulled out by his corner after a low blow in the sixth round.
Afterwards, Crawford questioned whether Khan quit, urging him to “tell the truth”. Khan responded by saying: “I would never quit, I would rather get knocked out.”
