Quetta (April 24, 2018): At least Five Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and several sustained injuries on Tuesday in three suicide blasts and simultaneously firing targeting FC camp in Mian Ghandi and airport road, Quetta, ISPR said.
According to military media wing ISPR, first two suicide blasts were occurred near FC camp. The area was cordoned off immediately after the incident, while bomb disposal squad and rescue teams have also been sent to the blasts scene.
Sources said that two suicide attackers below themselves near FC camp in Mian Ghandi, however two of them killed in firing by FC personnel and seven personnel wounded.In third attack targeting police van suicide attacker below himself near airport road, in which five personnel of Balochistan Constabulary martyred and other suffered injuries.

The dead bodies and injured being shifted to Jinnah hospital and other nearby hospitals.
The security officials have not confirmed the nature of the explosion, however, there were reports that it might have been suicide blasts.
There were also reports of intense gunfire in the wake of the blast.
Balochistan has faced a number of security challenges in recent months, with security personnel in the province often being targeted in roadside explosions and suicide attacks.
