Brexit Deal In Deadlock After British MPs Reject Series Of Strategies

LONDON: The persistent deadlock of Brexit deal on Monday was unable to be broken as British Parliamentarians rejected all four proposed alternative strategies in the House of Commons for a second time.

According to details, three days after Brexit was supposed to happen, lawmakers in the House of Commons remained incapable of breaking the deadlock over the country’s contemporary Brexit crisis.

While voting on alternatives to Theresa May’s Brexit deal, British MPs attempted to take control of the Brexit process but failed as of the four alternative plans voted on, none received a majority.

Nonetheless, a crunch cabinet meeting has been scheduled on Tuesday to discuss the future proceedings on the affair which will be headed by UK premier Theresa May.

It is pertinent to mention that Theresa May needs to get a Brexit agreement through any medium by April 10 to avoid leaving without a deal.

The plan that lost most narrowly was for a customs union that would keep Britain in the same tariff system as the rest of the European Union (EU) countries. It failed 276-273.
