The United Kingdom’s Foreign Office Minister Tobias Ellwood met Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan. The two leaders reiterated to continue cooperation for peace, progress and strengthening of institutions. Nisar expressed satisfaction over the multi-facet cooperation between the two countries for achieving mutual interests.
Pak-Britain relations, war against terrorism and regional situation were discussed during the meeting. Nisar said that Pakistan accords importance with its relations with Britain and is working for total elimination of terrorism and peace and progress of the region.
The British Foreign Office Minister lauded Pakistan for its success in its war against terrorism. Britain appreciates Pakistan efforts against terrorism, he said that his country will continue its cooperation with Pakistan to achiege peace, progress and strengthening of institutions in Pakistan.
British High Commissioner Philip Barton was also present.
