Budget Deficit To Remain Around Rs 27billion, Predicts Miftah Ismail

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and former finance minister Miftah Ismail has said PTI government was handed healthy economy but their incompetence have generated historical deficits.

Miftah in his statement issued here from Islamabad said, the debt has rapidly increased in the PTI government in the history of the country and predicted that budget deficit to remain around rupees 2700 billion. “People are suffering from the incompetence of the incumbent government.”

He held former finance minister Asad Umar responsible for the plunging country into biggest debt of the country’s history.

The PML-N leader said the party, which claimed to adopt austerity, has badly failed to show it in any of the department.

He said people are facing worst time in history and unable to get jobs even they are getting unemployment in the PTI government. “What happened to the slogan of PTI about creating jobs”?
