KARACHI: The buying spree on Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) is continued on the last trading day of the week as bench mark KSE-100 index increased by 267.86 points by mid day.
On Friday, in the morning session, the KSE-100 Index was at 48981.49 with a positive change of 267.86 and volume of 67,216,770 shares.
During trading, the index hit highest mark at 49020.22 and lowest at 48713.63. Total volume traded in the market was 193,569,940 shares with 349 total traded companies out of which 207 were up, 129 were down and 13 were unchanged.
Engineering sector was the market leader in the morning session with total traded volume of 63,124,100 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 19,777,900 shares.
