Islamabad: Federal cabinet meeting on Friday approved the budget for financial year 2022 to 2023.
The cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif approved a raise in salaries of government employees by 15 percent.
The meeting also has given nod to increase pension of the government employees by five percent.
The huddle approved financial bill of 2022-2023.
It is pertinent to mention here that it is first budget of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz led coalition government.
