Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has directed to start a regular campaign to install safety guards on bikes to protect them from metal strings of kites.

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has established a ministerial committee for policy making on wheat procurement and other issues. The provincial minister will be the head of the food committee while the ministers of finance, agriculture and information will be the members of the committee.

Addressing the Punjab Cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that it is important to decide on cultivation after determining the needs of the commodity. AI and other technologies should be used for this purpose.

Apart from this, while expressing regret over the death of Christian workers, the Chief Minister of Punjab said that the loss of a poor person’s life only becomes news. Effective legislation will be enacted to ensure the safety of sanitary workers.

The meeting agreed to the proposal of Easter holiday for Christian employees. To prevent cheating, it was decided to use cameras and artificial technology in the examination centers. The Chief Minister directed the ministers and members of the Assembly to ensure compliance with the law. In the meeting, it was approved to send the recommendation to give Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal to ASP Shahrabano Naqvi and SDPO Gulbarg Lahore to the Federation. Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department’s contract extension was approved. 

Apart from this, the extension of the contract of Motor Transport Management Information System employees and the restructuring of the Cabinet Standing Committee on Wheat and Commodity Financing Committee of the Food Department were approved.
