LAHORE: Punjab information minister Fayyazul Chohan on Wednesday once again criticised the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Shehbaz, saying that the government will provide all medical facilities for treatment of Shehbaz’s heart but every desire cannot be fulfilled.
While addressing an event in Lahore, the provincial information minister said that Shehbaz Sharif was not happily being given top position in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). He added that the opposition parties had paralysed the National Assembly (NA) for five months.
Chohan urged the PML-N president to tender his resignation himself as he was facing mega corruption charges. He said the Shehbaz should follow footsteps of Babar Awan, Azam Swati and Aleem Khan.
“We have spent last 20 years facing difficulties as a nation. We were continuously being presented as terrorist [around the world] during the time but we have proved ourselves as peaceful and loving people.”
Commenting over bilateral ties with neighbouring countries, Chohan said that Islamabad knew well about his responsibility to maintain bilateral relations with its neighbour, however, the country did not know about the angle of thought adopted by the neighbours.
