Cannot Take Summary for Caretaker CM Back: Shehbaz

Lahore (May 31, 2018): Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said that decision of Nasir Khosa about caretaker CM is his own, but the constitution does not allow him to take summary back.

While addressing a delegation at Lahore Press Club, Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s policy of making u-turns.Sharif remarked that how can such a person be capable of doing politics or hold public office.

Furthermore, while referring to submission of a resolution demanding a delay in general elections by Balochistan’s home minister, Sharif remarked that it was not a good omen or based on good intentions.Balochistan Assembly Passes Resolution Seeking Delay in PollsPakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader said that delay in elections was not in the best interest of the nation as Pakistan’s bright future will depend on its free and fair election of a new civilian government.

Earlier today, PML-N leader, Rana Sanaullah had said that it has been a tradition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf that they think after taking a decision.

Talking to the newsmen outside the accountability court in Islamabad, Rana Sanaullah said that consultation cannot take place with the non-serious party like PTI  again.

“Process of consultation has been completed, constitutionally cannot have more consultation over the name of caretaker CM” Rana Sanaullah said.

He said that Governor House Punjab will issue notification at 12.01am today, if Nasir Khosa agrees to hold the office, else the matter will go to the election commission.
