Prime Minister’ s Adviser Sartaj Aziz said that they can not host Afghan refuges more due to challenges including Socio-economic development, Pakistan has hosted Afghan refugees unprecedented for 30 years.
In Islamabad, PM’s Adviser met UN High Commission for refugees, while talking about Afghan refugees Sartaj Aziz said during the meeting that atmosphere is favorable for the return of Afghan refugees after political change in Afghanistan. However, the process of returning has became sluggish due to the lack of resources.
The international community should play its role in this regard. He said that due to security issues, border management was inevitable.
On this eve, UN Commissioner appreciated Pakistan over best hosting of Afghan refugees while he assured of their support in returning of these refugees.
