SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Khursheed Shah on Sunday, lashing out at the Federal government, said that amending the name of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will not remove affection for Benazir Bhutto from hearts of the public.
Khursheed Shah once again taunting prime minister Imran Khan said that people will abuse him too if he chooses to do the same.
“Federal government is expressing happiness after taking loans. This government is a complete model of Pervaiz Musharraf. We are an honourable nation that will not shake hands with Modi”, maintained the senior PPP leader.
He, further, alleged PTI-led government of creating such a difficult socio-economic scenario across the country that has imposed desperate times of survival on labours and farmers.
Earlier on Saturday, in a meeting between prominent leaders of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) and prime minister Imran Khan in Ghotki, GDA leader Makhdoom Mohsin presented his demand of amending the name of BISP.
Premier Imran ensured the party leaders that the name of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is being amended.
