TRIPOLI: At least two people have been killed in a car bomb explosion near Italian embassy in Tripoli.
Local media reported that the two deceased were probably the occupants of the car and their identities were unknown. The car bomb exploded about 35 meters away from the recently re-opened Italian embassy.
It is not clear whether the blast was a terrorist attack or an accident. Police and law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched investigations to probe the blast.
