Karachi (June 1, 2017): The fire that erupted at a cardborad factory at Bhingoria Town, Azizabad here this morning remains out of control with six fire tenders and a water bouzer and firefighters still trying to bring it under control.
According to fire brigade sources fire continues raging on the the second and third floors of the factory. Firefighters are facing immense difficulties to bring the fire under control due to closure of the entry routes and they are trying to stop the fire from spreading by spraying water from outside, they added.

Earlier four fire tenders tried to extinguish the fire that erupted at a cardboard factory in Bhingoria Town area of Azizabad area here.
As firefighters were busy trying to bring the fire under control three people received burn injuries and the fourth one was injured while trying to jump to safety.
Fires, both at residential premises and industries and factories, have become increasingly routine in almost all parts of the country in general and Karachi in particular.
Just ten days ago a fire that erupted at a plastic factory in SITE area here was brought under control after hours of fierce fight. The fire reportedly caused millions of loss.
The fire was so intense that in addition to the Karachi Fire Departments firefighting teams of Pakistan Navy and Karachi Port Trust were called in to bring the fire under control.
Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar had said that he had informed the Sindh government about the dearth of firefighting equipment and machinery but the Singh government seems not to be listening.
