Lahore (June 03, 2018): Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have named their 4 members for the parliamentary committee to decide for the caretaker CM Punjab on Sunday.
According the sources, Rana Sanaullah, Rana Mashud, Zaeem Qadri, Malik Ahmed are named by PML-N, whereas Mehemood ur Rasheed, Sibtain Khan, Murad Raas, Faiza Malik have been named by PTI.
As Punjab government and the opposition failed to reach a consensus, the matter has been referred to the parliamentary committee.

Earlier today,Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed on Sunday called Former Speaker Punjab Assembly, Rana Muhmmad Iqbal and asked for a meeting with Shehbaz Sharif to finalize caretaker CM Punjab’s name.
According to the details, consultation for the caretaker Punjab CM is still going on, in this regard on Sunday, Mian Mehmoodur Rasehed telephoned Rana Muhammad Iqbal and asked him to fix a meeting with Shehbaz Sharif.

The speaker borrowed time of an hour for the final consultation on the issue.
It is expected that Former CM Punjab and Former Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly will meet after iftaar today.
PML (N) has proposed two more names for consideration for Caretaker Chief Minister’s nomination in Punjab.
They are former Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah and former DG, IB Aftab Sultan, however he has excused himself from serving as caretaker Punjab Chief Minister ahead of general elections 2018.
Earlier, PML (N) had proposed two names, including Justice (R) Sair Ali and former IG Punjab, Tariq Saleem Dogar.
PTI has already proposed four names, including Dr. Hassan Askari, Yaqub Izhar, Ayaz Amir and Orya Maqbool Jan for the slot.
A day earlier, confusion surrounded the list of candidates suggested by PTI for the caretaker chief minister of Punjab.
After Opposition leader and outgoing PTI parliamentary leader, Mahmoodur Rasheed presented the names of Orya Maqbool Jan, Yaqub Izhar, and Hassan Askari, party spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry later took to Twitter to announce the candidates proposed as caretaker CM which did not include Orya’s name.

“PTI has proposed three names to be appointed as Caretaker Punjab CM. 1)Hassan Askari 2) Ayaz Amir 3) Yaqub Izhar… agreement on one name is expected by tomorrow evening,” the party’s spokesperson confirmed on Twitter.
In Balochistan, another round of talks is expected to be held today to end stalemate over nomination of a caretaker Chief Minister for the province.
In this connection, four rounds of talks have already been held between former Chief Minister Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and former Leader of Opposition in Balochistan Provincial Assembly Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal but these remained inconclusive.
However, if consensus could not be reached in today’s parleys, then the issue would be submitted to the Parliamentary Committee of the House for its consideration.
