Deadlock Between Govt, Opp. Persists Over Caretaker CM Sindh

Karachi (May 26, 2018): The issue of caretaker chief minister Sindh once again in doldrums as the deadlock between chief minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah and opposition leader Khawaja Izhar ul Hassan continuously persisting and it is likely to issue will go to parliamentary committee.

According to details the Sindh government and opposition could not agree on a name for the caretaker CM that is showing that the issue will go to parliamentary committee.

The speaker of Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani will set up a parliamentary committee which will decide the caretaker chief minister name within three days. The committee likely to be constituted on Monday.  The Sindh assembly tenure will end on May 28 and as per constitution the present chief minister Murad Ali Shah can work till the finalizing the name of caretaker CM by the parliamentary committee.

PPP, MQM-P, PTI, PML-N, PML-F and NPP have the presentation in Sindh assembly.

PPP has proposed the name fo justice retired Sarwar Korai, Engineer Hummer Soomro and Dr Younas Soomro, PTI proposed Justice Ameer Muslim Hani and Fazalur Rehman, PML-F has given Ghous Ali Shah and MQM has proposed Aftab Sheikh name for the caretaker CM.
