Caretaker Govt Issues Rs. 9 Billion Funds For Development

Islamabad (August 07, 2018): The caretaker government has issued Rs. 9 billion 94 crores as first installment for federal development programs.

According to Planning commission document, the funds are issued for the development programs of the current year.

As per the document, Rs. 4 billion and 74 crores have been issued for Jammu and Kashmir govt as first three months installment. Rs. 27 billion and 80 crores are allocated for J&K for the current year, while Rs. 4 billion and 62 crores have been issued to the Atomic Power Commission.Rs. 3 billion and 54 crores have been issued to the Karachi coastal power project. Rs 33 crores to maritime affair division, Rs 20 crores to the cabinet division and two crores to the planning division.

According to the documents, Rs 930 billion rupees were allocated for federal development program, in which Rs 171 billion rupees were decided to be arranged from foreign sources.Rs 100 billion rupees are allocated for the upcoming govt to spend on their plans.
