Islamabad (April 17, 2018): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday hit back at Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah for criticising the party for releasing the names for caretaker prime minister without consultations.
Maintaining that the party has not officially announced nominees for an interim prime minister, Chaudhry said that Shah should have consulted with PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi to clear the confusion.

Chaudhry said Shah should have contacted PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi to clear any confusion before commenting on the matter.
The post of an opposition leader is an important one, and such carelessness should not happen, the PTI spokesperson added.
Earlier today, Shah slammed the PTI’s decision to announce nominees for caretaker prime minister without consultations. Claiming that he found out about the nominees through media, Shah said there was no longer any point in meeting PTI for deliberations on the matter.
The Pakistan Peoples Party leader also said he contacted the party but received no response.
Earlier on Monday, a News surfaced that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has finalized three names for caretaker Prime Minister.
Sources say that the names were finalized after PTI chief’s consultation with senior leaders.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi will hand over the names of Abdur Razzaq Daud, Tasadduq Jilani and Dr Ishrat Hussain to opposition leader Khurshid Shah.
Daud has remained Trade Minister in the cabinet of former president Pervez Musharraf from 1999-2002.
Tasadduq Jilani has served Chief Justice of Pakistan from 2013-2014, while Hussain has remained governor State Bank from 1999-2006.
