Case Against Encroachments: SC Expresses Anger Over Sindh Govt Not Submitting Report

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan in the case against the encroachment remarked that informed the court whether the court orders implemented or not? otherwise, contempt of court notice will be served to Chief Minister Sindh.

The SC bench headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmed heard the case against the encroachment and others issue at the Karachi registry. While the court expressed anger over not presenting the report by the Sindh government on the matter.

Advocate general told the court that the Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah is busy in meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad and ensured that the court orders will be implemented.

Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that Mayor of the city stated that Sindh government didn’t call him in its meeting regarding the city matters while if Mayor of the city will be absent from the meetings what will be the benefit of the meeting adding that go to Lalo Khait, North Nazimabad, Manghopir and Kati Pehari at the moment, mafias are working everywhere, masses are suffering in the war of ego, stubbornness between Sindh governments and city administration.

The honorable Justice said that children were dying on the roads of the city but nobody is taking care of it while the parents of the city sending their children to educational institutes in a fear.

Talking about his own problem he said that when his granddaughter goes to school his wife gets depressed adding that he cannot drive his own car in the city as it is feared that one can snatch valuables at gunpoint while stopping at any signal of the city.
