Ceasefire violation on LoC is intolerable: COAS

KARACHI: Pakistani Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif said that ceasefire violation on Line of Control (LoC) is unbearable. He was addressing the ceremon of passing out parade of Pakistan Navy at Naval Academy in Karachi here on Saturday. He said that they were aware about enemies motives for Pakistan-China Economic Corridor (PCEC) while Gwadar Port would be an important strategic port where the enemy would be defeated via finalising its construction at any cost.

He said that they wished for peaceful ties with all countries and adopted coordination policy with other countries for establishment of regional peace but not on price of national interests and pride.

COAS clarified that LoC violation is intolerable and exhibited enemy motives by Balochistan, FATA and Karachi bloodshed. He added that armed forces were not alone in the fight against terrorism but having full support of the nation.

While commenting about PCEC, COAS said that the economic corridor would change life style of the nation.
