Islamabad (September 13, 2017): The chairman of National Accountability Board (NAB) has directed the comprehensive and best treatment of references against Sharif family submitted before the accountability court of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
It was decided in NAB executive board meeting held in the chair of Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhary in Islamabad.
The meeting has given approval to close the corruption cases against the speaker KP assembly and MNA Syed Iftikhar Shah. The meeting has also decided to investigate four new cases.
The meeting reviewed the various inquiries and references along with the references filed against Sharif family and finance minister Ishaq Dar.
Chairman NAB lauded the performance of the NAB team for completion of references against Sharif family and Ishaq Dar in time and directed the prosecution wing to prosecute the references with best way.
NAB has close the corruption case against KP speaker Asad Qaiser and it also approval the reference against the former chairman of Evacuee Trust Property Board Asif Hashmi.
