Islamabad: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has handed over recovered sum from Sindh Roshan Program to the Sindh government.
Chairman NAB Just (retd) Javed Iqbal handed a cheque of Rs 224 million to Chief Secretary (CS) Sindh Mumtaz Ali Shah.
At the occasion, the CS thanked the Chairman NAB over provision of the recovered money.
It is pertinent to mention here that the NAB Rawalpindi had conducted the investigations of illegal contract of Sindh Roshan Program.
The NAB during the course of the probe investigated as many as 19 contractors while contractors had received commission through fake accounts.
Under the program solar lights had to be installed across the province.
