KARACHI: Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Wednesday visited Karachi branch of his institution.
The Chairman anti-graft body at the occasion said that the NAB Karachi is a major regional bureau which has played vital role in the performance of the anti-corruption body.
Javed Iqbal said that the NAB has first priority to investigate white collar crimes on the scientific grounds while it has adopted an accountability for all policy.
He said that the NAB has achieved a milestone as it submitted a huge some of Rs 71 billion in the national exchequer adding that the graft-buster body has sent as many as 600 references to honorable accountability courts in the last 23 months while it has a punishment rate of 70 in the references.
Appreciating the performance of the body’s Karachi chapter he said that DG NAB Karachi Farooq Nasar Awan has been taking initiatives to improve it performance further.
At the end, the Chairman distributed credential certificates and prizes among the NAB employees having the best performances.
