Islamabad: Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Muhammad Saleem Baig has announced to launch Direct To Home (DTH) until the end of this year.
Taking to media persons in Lahore, the Chairman PEMRA said that cable operators involved in illegal
activities will not be spared while Pakistan will bring its DTH system until the end of this year.
Muhammad Saleem Baig said that if sale and purchase of illegal broadcasting equipment happened in any market then legal action will be taken against this.
Earlier, the PEMRA taking action against those who are running illegal channels on cable and satelites confiscated broadcasting equipment of worth million rupees.
