PPP Seeks Baloch Govt Support for Chairman Senate Election

Quetta (March 04, 2018): A two-member Pakistan People’s Party delegation on Sunday met Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudus Bizenjo in order to pursue the group of six independent senators for their bid to elect the Senate Chairman from the PPP.    

The two member delegation comprised of veteran PPP leader Qayyum Somroo and former Speaker of the National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi.

Talking to media later, Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Qudus Bizenjo said that they would approach every political party of the province and has no differences with any party.

“The senators of our group are infront of all and they are committed to work for the rights of Baloch people,” he said.

He said that the work needed for the development of Gwadar area was not carried out as per the need of the people of the area.
