Pakistan beat Malaysia in Asian Hockey Championship Trophy’s semi final by 3-2 in penalty shootouts to set final with the arch rival India.
After the four quarters, the match was equal by 1-1. Malaysia’s Shahreel Saba scored a goal on penalty corner in second quarter to lead the game by 1-0.
Pakistan Abdul Haseeb equaled the score by netting the ball into Malaysian goal in the third quarter.
Pakistan will face India in final of the tournament. Pakistan goalkeeper Imran Butt put up a great show, saving two goals to lead his team to the victory.
Pakistan reached in the semi final by beating South Korea, China and Japan. India and Malaysia beat Pakistan in the round matches. The final will be played between arch-rivals in Kuantan, Malaysia
