Muscat (October 26, 2018): In the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex, Pakistan beat Malaysia by 1-0.
Muhammad Irfan scored the only goal to ensure the victory.
Pakistan will meet again with Malaysia in the semifinal.
Earlier on October 13, Pakistan and Japan played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in their Pool A encounter. Pakistan has defeated host Oman by 8-1 on October 13 but lost to India by 3-1 on October 21.
