Chances of Test Cricket Resumption In Country Brighter

LAHORE: Sri Lanka has given green signal to play two matches of world test league in Pakistan which will resume international test cricket in Pakistan after 10 years.

Karachi and Lahore will host world test league matches while Pakistan Cricket Board talks with Bangladesh government also continued to persuade it to send its team to Pakistan.

Nine teams are taking part in world test league while the championship will be played in 2020 whereas second test championship will be played in 2021.

Sources said that the PCB had started efforts during Pakistan Super League to bring test cricket in Pakistan while its talks with Bangladesh was continued.

The PCB had the willingness to invite Bangladesh cricket board president Najam Ul Hassan to watch PSL final while PCB chairman had given the good news that two major teams will visit Pakistan after the world cup.
