LAHORE: Accountability Court (AC) of Lahore on Wednesday extended judicial remand of Maryam Nawaz and Yousuf Abbass for two days in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
Maryam Nawaz and his cousin Yousuf Abbass produced before the court over conclusion of their earlier 14-day judicial remand in the Sugar Mills case.
The AC Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan asked the NAB prosecutor when he will present the reference of Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, on which, the NAB prosecutor told the court that the reference against the accused has entered in a last phase and it will be filled after approval of the Chairman NAB.
Maryam Nawaz during course of the hearing insisted to meet his ailing father the incarcerated premier Nawaz Sharif while the court rejected her demand.
Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan extending a two day judicial remand of Maryam Nawaz and Yosuf Abbass and issued orders to present the accused on October 25.
