Karachi (September 01, 2018): Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar visited hospitals of Karachi, including Ziauddin Hospital, Cardio and Jinnah Hospital and met Sharjeel Memon who is being treated there.
According to details, CJP Saqib Nisar visited Ziauddin, Cardio and Jinnah Hospital in Karachi today, before hearing of important cases in Karachi registry.
According to sources, he visited room of under treatment, Sharjeel Memon at Ziauddin Hospital and had a minor talk, while hospital staff was not allowed in the room.
Later, CJP visited Cardio Hospital, Karachi, where accused of major corruption scam, Anwar Majeed and Hussain Lawai are under treatment.
After the visit of Ziauddin Hospital and Cardio Hospital, CJP reached Jinnah Hospital, where he was briefed by Dr. Seemi Jamali, Director Jinnah Hospital. Money laundering case accused Abdul Ghani is under treatment at Jinnah Hospital. 
CJP Saqib Nisar will be heading three members bench in Karachi registry today, for hearing of major cases. While, PTI’s MPA Imran Ali Shah is present in the court, in case of physical assault of citizen.
On the other hand, residents of Mehran Town staged protest outside Supreme Court registry, before arrival of CJP. Residents said that they are being vacated from their houses, over claims of fake files.
Protesters alleged that women and kids are being assaulted at Mehran Town, and plead to CJP for help.
