Karachi (December 07, 2017): The Karachi police claims recovery of a child , who was kidnapped from Defence, after police efforts exposed as fake and sources unveiled that child was recovered after paying ransom.
According to details the child, Aban, was abducted on Wednesday from 26 street defence by two unknown accused. Eyewitness said that the kidnappers were wearing brown jacket and their faces were covered with veil.
The home minister taking the notice of kidnapping directed the immediate recovery of the child and asked details inquiry report in this connection.
Meanwhile, the ransom amount of Rs 300, 000 settled between parents and kidnappers.
A day later, today, Police claimed that the child has been recovered, however sources claimed that the child recovery came after the payment of ransom money while no abductor was arrested during the action.
Sources told that the parents reached the set place along with police and received their child after payment of ransom. The case of child kidnap could not be registered so far.

According to the details, a five-year-old Abaan, son of Ghufran, was abducted from Khayaban-e-Roomi intersection in Defence. Two men wearing masks kidnapped Abaan when he was on his way back from school accompanied by his mother.
Police sources said the kidnappers also snatched the mobile phone of the mother before nabbing her child. The father of the kidnapped child is a spare parts dealer. The captors asked the mother to contact them by 6 pm it she wanted to see her son alive.
Police have conducted the raid and safely recovered the child, however accused managed to escape. The child has been handed over to parents and raids being conducted for the arrest of kidnappers, police said.
