Islamabad (July 3, 2017): Prime Minister’s younger son Hassan Nawaz on Monday said that he had handed over documents regarding his business in London to the joint investigation team (JIT) probing Sharif family’s offshore holdings.
Talking to media after appearing before the JIT for the third time, Hassan said that he had the JIT to tell him his fault as they had summoned him for thrice.

He added that he had submitted documents regarding his business in UK, liabilities and transactions.
He accused the JIT of searching allegation against him.
Hassan claimed that to exert pressure on Nawaz Sharif his children were being used.
He remarked that the JIT had put up a ‘Jumma Bazaar’ of summons.
Hassan said that in UK regulatory authorities were satisfied with him. He added that his father ordered him to come back and appear before the JIT, which he complied with.
The meeting of the JIT headed by Wajid Zia, additional director general of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), is underway at FJA. All the six member of the team are participating in the meeting.Earlier Hassan Nawaz reached the Academy along with PML-N leaders to appear before the team.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister Asif Kirmani and other PML-N leader accompanied Hassan Nawaz to FJA. A number of PML-N workers and supporters gathered near FJA to express solidarity with Hassan Nawaz.
Police did not allow PML-N MNA Tahira Aurangzaib to go to FJA and stopped her near the Academy.
This is third appearance of Hassan before the team.
Later in the day, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will appear before the team for the first time.
The JIT has also summoned the Prime Minister’s younger son Hassan Nawaz to appear before it today. This will be Hassan Nawaz’s third appearance before the JIT.
The PM’s other children, Hussain Nawaz and Maryam Nawaz are also scheduled to appear before the JIT this week. Hussain Nawaz will be appearing before the team for the sixth time.
On July 5, Maryam Nawaz will appear before the JIT for the first time.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister’s cousin Tariq Shafi appeared before the team to respond the members questions about Gulf Steel owned by Shairf family.
On the other hand, sources said, the JIT has started winding up the probe and prepare its report to be presented in the Supreme Court on July 10.
