China has warning United States over deployment of its advanced anti-missile system THAAD in South Korea.
Saying that it “means what it says” a Chinese Defence Ministry official said that his country says it will consider countermeasures if the US Terminal High Altitude Area Defence (THAAD) is deployed to counter nuclear threats from North Korea which is a neighbor of China.
China’s warning has come a day before South Korea’s announcement a location for the said missile site.
US has dismissed China’s resentment over missile deployment in South Korea the radar system of which could track its defense capabilities.
