Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow at the loss of lives from avanlanche deaths in Chitral and has directed NDMA to undertake rescue works immediately.
According to PM House spokesman the prime minister expressing sorrow at the detahs caused by avalanche in Shersaal area of Chitral directed NDMA to undertake rescue and relief operations and to use resources to tackle the natural disaster.
The prime minister also issued directions to ensure that food and medical treatment be provided to the effectees.
