ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani man who was injured during his bid to overpower the attacker in mosque attack in New Zealand’s Christchurch city on Friday, has been declared a hero by the foreign media.
According to foreign media, Naeem Rashid, who was injured in his bid to overpower the attacker, succumbed to his injuries and passed away late Friday night. He hailed from Abbottabad, his son was also martyred in the process.
Another Pakistan named Muhammad Amin is also injured and is admitted to hospital. He hailed from, Hafizabad.
A Karachi based chartered accountant named Areeb is also under treatment at a hospital. He was deputed to Christchurch by his firm.
