Civil-Military leadership not on same page: Qadri

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek Chief Dr. Tahir ul Qadri has claimed that civil military relationship is not good and both are not on a same page. Dr Qadri said that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif showed weak stance on Indian aggression on line of control.

While talking to media before leaving for Jhang, PAT Chief Dr. Qadri said that India has shown aggression along line of control, while our Prime Minister and the Government is silent. He said that Prime Minister’s statements in existing situation is very weak, which is without political vision and patriotism.

He said that we should talk about negotiations with India but at the same time, we must lodge protest against the aggression. He said that Pakistan must condemned the act. Dr. Qadri further said that Pakistan should raise this issue in United Nations.

He lamented that people were compelled to pay electricity bills costing more than their life savings. Dr. Qadri was of the view that change in leadership of the country was vital to make Pakistani people a one nation.

He said he would return to Islamabad, where sit-in is being staged against the government, after visiting the flood-hit areas.
