ISLAMABAD: National Judicial Policy Committee on Monday decided to raise the issue of the shortage of judges and other staff in the courts and tribunals with the government.
A meeting of the National Judicial Policy Committee was chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Asif Saeed Khosa in which it was decided that the committee will take up the issue of the shortage of staff at the courts and tribunals across the country with the federal government.
The committee in the meeting also decided to form model civil, family, rent and magistrate courts across the country. The CJP also approved the named of High Court judges in the meeting.
It was also decided in the meeting that the model courts will hear the cases regularly and no delay will be made in those courts.
The CJP also approved to train the judges before the formation of gender and children courts and sought names from the chief justices of all the high court of the trainers.
