Karachi(July 22, 2018): Chief Justice of the Apex Court, Justice Saqib Nisar will resume hearing cases at the Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry today.
The chief justice-led bench is set to hear several crucial cases, such as the Manchar Lake pollution case, Sindh water commission case, the case related to the occupation of public parks, corruption in Sindh police and load-shedding in Karachi. 
Prior to the chief justice’s arrival at the Karachi registry, residents of Karachi’s Martin Quarters and FC Area localities are protesting against the eviction notices to them for vacating illegally occupied government residences.
Police have blocked the main roads leading towards the Supreme Court.
