Mardan (April 22, 2018): Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has said that honest leadership is needed for a clean Pakistan.
While addressing a public rally in Mardan on Sunday, Haq said that the system will not work, if the political parties give tickets to corrupt individuals.
The JI leader said that election exercise will be useless, if the upcoming general polls will be held like senate elections. He said a party served show cause notices to their legislators for selling votes in the senate elections. Haq demanded ECP to take affidavits from the senators in the situation. Haq hailed Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar for resolving public issues.
