Islamabad: Ex-premier Shahid Khaqan Abbassi once again demanding to close National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and said that otherwise the institution will destroy Pakistan.
The hearing of irregularities in LNG terminal case could not be held today due to Judge Muhammad Bashir being on leaves while duty Judge Azam Khan adjourned the hearing till September 7.
Talking to media after the hearing, stalwart of Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) accusing the NAB said that tax paid on whatever amount existed in his and his son accounts and asked the NAB how one can conduct money laundering with tax paid amount adding that no reference against him can be filed by the NAB after passing of as many as 13 months.
Shahid Khqan Abbassi lamenting on the government said that each and every institution of the government is on decline adding that institutions collapsed during this government while nobody is ready to work.
He said that Maulana Fazal Ur Rahman complaints regarding opposition parties are valid and said that a single party can’t amend the NAB laws.
