LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has sent defamation notice of anchorperson Hamid Mir over raising allegations against him.
“Hamid Mir should apologize within 14 days or pay Rs.25 cores as defamation or legal action would be taken out against him”, the legal notice sent by Usman Buzdar through his lawyer reads.
The legal notice further states that Hamid Mir did propaganda by using an alleged SMS against him by calling it as of PM Khan and on changing the name of DG Khan Medical College to Sardar Fateh Muhammad Khan Buzdar as the decision was taken by the administrative committee of the college and the resolution was passed by the provincial assembly.
The senior journalist has been asked to tender his apology or face legal action.
