LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar has ordered Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) and the provincial management to remain on high alert due to rain in Lahore and other parts of the Punjab.
As per the directives issued by the Punjab CM, WASA and provincial authorities have been directed to take immediate steps for drainage of water from low lying areas.
Drainage through machinery should be ensured in minimum time possible, said Usman Buzdar adding that effective measures should be taken to ensure smooth flow of traffic during rain.
