Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has removed CPO and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Multan over failure to solve public problems and neglect of duties on poor performance.
The CM Punjab paid surprise visit to various cities of South Punjab which included Multan, Taunsa Sharif and Dera Ghazi Khan. The CM Punjab reviewed provided treatment facilities in visit to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital Taunsa.
Sardar Usman Buzdar inquired about the health of patients and asked about their families about health facilities while the CM ordered suspension of MS Dr Muhammad Tahir on complaints of patients and their attendants.
The CM expressed anger over the poor sanitation arrangements in Taunsa city while he also issued orders of suspension of SE Public health, SDO Public Health, Excean Highway and Chief Officer Municipal Committee over negligence on their duties.
In his visit to DG Khan teaching hospital, the CM asked patients and their attendant about facilities and provision of medicines while taking notice of a complain of purchasing of medicine and thermometers from outside the hospital, the CM ordered adviser health for inquiry.
In his statement, the CM clarified that the officers will do their work or they will be shown doors adding that laziness will not be tolerated in the development work.
