Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that Allama Iqbal taught self respect, high values , justice, truthfulness and democracy.
On the occasion of 139th birthday of the poet of east, the CM Punjab visited tomb of the great poet and laid floral wreath and prayed.
In his message, the CM said that the great poet awakened the Muslims of the sub-continent from negligence.
He is standard -bearer of Islam, which is always alive for all the times, leader and reformer to youth. The CM said that the Iqbal’s poetry is like solution of all problems.
Shahbaz Sharif stressed the nation it is time to reiterate and follow his teachings and strive to make the country as per imagination of the founders.
