KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday again raised objections over the procedure of ongoing population census, saying that he wrote letter to federal government pleading to make census exercise transparent, but did not receive positive response.
Addressing inauguration ceremony of cancer scanning unit at SIUT Mehrun Nisa Medical Centre in Korangi, the chief minister talked about water shortage in the city, adding that situation in entire Pakistan was no different than Sindh.
He again expressed his dissatisfaction over the ongoing exercise of population census, saying that he wrote to federal government over such a sensitive issue but did not get any reply.
The chief minister announced free test the Medical Centre.
On the occasion, Health Minister Dr Sikander Mendhro and Education Minister Jaam Mehtab Daher were also present.
