KARACHI: The spat between federal and Sindh government further deepened when chief minister Murad Ali Shah has written a third consecutive letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding the removal of IG Sindh Kaleem Imram.
In his letter, CM mentioned that the conduct of the IG Sindh causing the spread of hate as he is disrespecting Sindh government through his non-serious and immature conduct and he started joking attitude against the Sindh government publically.
“Federal cabinet is violating the 1993 agreement in connection with IG and including a governor in the consultation process is totally wrong. Rules say the governor has no role in the replacement or change of IG,” the letter said adding that federal government immediately appoint IG one of the five recommended names.
CM Sindh further told the PM in the letter that the IGs of KP and Punjab replaced when they needed and on your recommendation, he started the process in the change of IG but despite the presence of solid evidence, he was being not removed.
