Rawalpindi (September 16, 2018): Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has arrived in Beijing on a three-day official visit, the Inter-Services Public Relations said on Sunday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief will meet his Chinese counterpart and will interact with various Chinese leaders as well.
COAS arrived at Beijing, China on three days official visit. During the visit COAS will interact with various Chinese leaders including his counterpart.

Earlier on September 08, a Chinese delegation led by Foreign Minister Mr Wang Yi had met army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed matters relating to regional security and bilateral cooperation.The Chinese Foreign Minister said that Pakistan-China relationship is based on the convergence of views and mutual respect.
Appreciating professionalism of Pakistan Army, Foreign Minister had said that world should have acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts towards regional peace and stability. He had appreciated security provided to CPEC and said that China believes in inclusive prosperity.
The army chief thanked the foreign minister for his visit and continued Chinese support to Pakistan.
He said that Pakistan has suffered from global contestation but “we are poised to claim our rightful place in comity of nations through the commitment to peace and stability both within and without.”Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan Mr Yao Jing was part of the delegation.
